10 Huge Awesome Epic Films Coming in 2016

There’s some top films coming next year – which one are you most looking forward to?

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
5 February 2016

Genius title, fun concept: Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England is faced with a new challenge — an army of un-dead zombies.

We’re really looking forward to this one.

Zoolander 2

Amazing. We’re so happy they made this. Have the chance to do a Blue Steel or Magnum pose – this one is sure to go viral with people doing their own pose.

Gods of Egypt
26 February 2016

Another swords and sandals epic, with Gerard Butler at the helm. You’ll be guaranteed big sounds, big swords, and lots of homo-eroticism.

The Huntsman Winter’s War (2016)
22 April 2016

The first Huntsman – a modern take on Snow White, was surprisingly good, and very watchable. In this sequel, two evil sisters prepare to conquer the land; but two renegades – Eric the Huntsmen – who previously aided Snow White in defeating Ravenna, and his forbidden lover, Sara set out to stop them.

X-Men: Apocalypse
March 2016

Get ready to get darker – after what seems like 20 X-Men films, this one is going to be a little more ‘serious’ and shady. This one is Directed, known for House M.D. (2004), The Usual Suspects (1995) and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) as well as X-Men 2

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
25 March 2016

This one could be great, or awful. Batman is cool, but Superman is kind of lame. The story is that fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.

And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before. (the threat is Donald Trump)

Captain America: Civil War

Summer 2016

Hero vs. Hero, but from Marvel this time. The story doesn’t really matter – you’ll be guaranteed huge action set pieces coupled with witty quips from Robert Downey Jr. We’re game.

Finding Dory
17 June 2016

The friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish reunites with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the true meaning of family along the way. Sure to be visually stunning and heart-warming too.

Independence Day: Resurgence

24 June 2016 (USA)

We always knew they were coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Come on aliens, get some!

This is being markered as the ‘cool alternative’ super hero type film, where you can get your 3D glasses and popcorn and feel a little bit cool at the same time.

The story is that a secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.
The star cast list is: Will Smith, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Tom Hardy, Joel Kinnaman, Scott Eastwood, Jai Courtney, Margot Robbie and Cara Deleving.
