PPAR adoptable cat for Feb 2014

PPAR Adoptable Cat of February 2014: Mr. Kirin!

Kirin PPAR Cat 2

Name: Kirin

Age: About 2 years old

Gender: Male

Health: Treated for fleas and worms, vaccinated and neutered.

Ideal Home: Kirin is a handsome boy with round green eyes. Kirin is an affectionate cat, but his pre-condition to approach you is that he must fully trust you first. Consequently, it is needed a period of time for him to get familiar with you and your family, so you need to be patient.

His Story: Kirin is a TNR cat (trap, neutered and released by animal rescue volunteers) and he lived at a compound before. However, that compound is very dangerous and stray cats were disappearing. One rescuer heard that they were caught by cat killers. Consequently, as Kirin is very affectionate and he likes to follow people like a dog, the rescuer decided to save him and find a warm home for him. However, after Kirin was sent to the PPAR Shelter, he looked very unhappy and we knew he hates to stay in a cage.

Kirin like cuddling with the caretaker at the shelter, but doesn’t like being touched by a stranger. So, we think Kirin needs a patient adopter and it would be better if the adopter has experience to deal with cats. Apparently, Kirin needs someone who can love him in order to open his heart again.
