Tikka Restaurant, Maoming Road

Masala Art is well known as a good Indian restaurant in Shanghai. How about another? Tikka is worth a try.

On 56 Maoming road near Changle road, is a good sized, well decorated and not bad Indian restaurant.

Like any ‘foreign’ food in China, let’s face it, the price is inflated. Meat portions are usually small within the curries. Toilet trips the following day are increased in frequency.

But nonetheless, there will always come a time when you need your curry fix, and Tikka will deliver that spice bonus to your mealtime, thus punctuating your month or year with a specifically-themed ethnic delight.

It was also raining outside after we ate, and we ate plenty, so they gave us free Masala tea while we were too fat and lazy to move post-meal. Which was nice.
